Residents and visitors to the largest city in Brazil can now see two axolotls at the zoo. Cybele Lisboa, the zoo’s reptile and amphibian management manager, will make sure they are cared for. The São Paulo zoo reportedly rescued the two axolotls from animal trafficking. There are now two female axolotls there. source
